I was able to get out five separate days to do a little hunting in our pacific northwest - from Mt. St. Helens all the way over to the coastline and we only got dumped on by rain twice! The rest of the time the skies were all blue.
Once was with my son CT - that's him checking things out with the binoculars and also with my husband's uncle in the photo below.
Got several miles hiked with my husband as well. Nice to be out in nature and feel especially grateful for the time to do so before this year ends as it's not always easy for me to find time to leave the household tasks behind. Thanks to my husband Tom for all the money in gas spent to get us out to these beautiful spots and for sacrificing his special bird and dog time for me.

It sounds like you had a good time. I'm glad you got the chance to get away. That bright blue sky sure is beautiful! :-)
