We're Spring cleaning in Winter. Why? Because we can! Seven straight days of sunny skies and no rain! 55 - 65 degrees outside! We had a trailer load of wood to split so we borrowed my dad's wood splitter and CT and I ( with MN and Little J helping run the splitter ) got it all split and stacked.

We also tackled the inside of the house. My girls were becoming hoarders so we went through their room, got rid of a bunch of things no longer needed and rearranged the furniture to open up the room a bit. Whew! I can breathe in there again.

The boy's room was much easier since they seem to keep it more tidy year round than the girls. We got rid of stuff they'd outgrown or didn't want and then rearranged their furniture.

Mostly so that CT's collection of reptiles could be lined up uniformly and look a little neater. He likes it this way. I also cleaned out all the closets, painted the hallway to cover all the dings and marks made by the kids, shampooed the carpets and went through all the stuff in both garages to get rid of, almost finished pulling out the raspberry plants that took over the vegetable garden, put gravel in the chicken and dog pens, clean shavings in their beds and lots of other little odd jobs to clean up the place and we'll have a yard sale here next month. It's so nice we got this wonderful break in the Winter weather so we could get a jump start on our Spring cleaning! Cleaning makes me happy!

Wow! You've been really busy and accomplished a lot! Everything looks really great. So tell me, do you hire out? Haha! We've been having a really mild winter here so far. I have no complaints about that. :-)
Cleaning makes me happy too, and having the time to do the needed cleaning is precious! Things are looking good there and I can tell the kids are happy about it because they are excited to show me their rooms and how neat they are.
Thought I would check in on you and your family. So happy you have had nice weather. It feels great to get some cleaning and organizing done. We have done much the same and hope to have a yard sale soon. Happy Valentine's Day to all. Mildred
