A Seamstress Has Emerged

We're so lucky to have a Mom / Grandma who is able and willing to take the kids and teach them skills that I'm not able to teach them. Each of the kids really enjoys their time with 'Grandma' . KN gets sewing lessons once a week with my mom at her house and in addition to several other items, she's sewed up pajama pants for our entire family - including her American Girl doll.
Fairy pj's for her little sister ...
Lizard pj's for her big brother ...
Frog pj's for her little brother ...
Fairy pj's for herself ...
And pink pj's with 'sprinkles' for me. ( By the way, they are the best fitting pj's I've ever had - probably because they were tailor made. ~ Lucky me! )

She's a talented little girl and very lucky to have a grandma to spend time with her and teach her things. The pajamas look great! :)

It is so much fun teaching KN to sew because really, she is a quick learner and very soon will be out-doing me in pretty much all sewing endeavors, especially since she has a very creative ability to do what she sets out to do, with abandon & flourish!Just channel these abilities in the right paths and her creativity will reflect Him and be such a blessing , as she has already shown, your pj's look mighty warm & comfy. ( think I need her to make me some)

Every girl should know how to sew! I'm so thankful to have had that back in school (FHA) I don't think they teach those kinds of courses now. Your mom is one of my fav people too! What a good job she did on her projects, and great colorful choices in fabrics!
