Here, the two oldest, challenge each other to a badminton game.

Here the two 5 year old's pose in the new rocking chair we'd just put together for 'Aunt Breezy'.
This was MN's first time riding a horse. Here she's riding Oakley with Uncle Daniel.

The kids also got to ride 'fat little Snickers' as KN called him. He's a pony who is just being boarded at my brother and sis in law's house. KN really liked riding the horses.

Here is my mom with all eight of her grandkids. At this very moment there are two 7 year olds, two 5 year olds, a 9 , 8, and 3 year old and a 10 month old.
The highlights of the trip for the kids was playing in the 'fort' which was out in the back pasture in a row of trees, swimming in the horse trough, playing the electric key board and riding the horses. CT loved riding the tractor with Uncle Daniel.

So the only morning person in this photo is Daniel and this was taken VERY early in the morning right before the boys took off for the dump. Great time to snap a picture of mom with her three kids!
The highlights of the trip for me was seeing and listening to my brothers and Breezy - always fun to hear what they have to say, seeing just how much we are still alike and a little bit different too!, Playing with my nieces and getting to know them as they grow ... oh ...
... and of course, no road trip would be complete without the stops at Burger King!!!

your family brings back so many memories..It seems such a short time ago when you all were kids doing the same things. Glad you had a good time. We need to have a family reunion soon.
Love the pink cowgirl boots MN is wearing and I did not realize we only have one morning person in the photo. What were we all doing up so early anyway? Even most of the grandkids looked like they would rather have been back in their sleeping bags in the tent!
Looks like you guys had a wonderful day. MN's cowboy boots are too cute with her little dress.
Entirely way too much fun! Even a non-morning person has to just love an eastern Washington early morning. When I get up early on a day like today and yesterday, with the mock orange bloomin' and sniffin all over, I am catapulted to childhood days spent with cousins on the other side of the mountains. My cousin Lee taught me the fine art of swimming in the stock tank, straight sides, no steps, not a swimming pool for sure, but way more fun! I know your kids will have amazing memories of these times.
I love all the family photos, Autumn. It sounds like you had a great time. I especially like the photo of your mom with all her grandchildren.
Super fun, loved the pic.
This looks like such a joyful family get together - loved these happy photos!!
Looks like everyone had a wonderful time.
