It's Beginning to Look a Little Like Christmas

 It's both fun and tiring decorating the new house for Christmas.  Trying to figure out new places to put old decorations.  It's really nice living within about 5 miles from 5 different tree farms.  Didn't have to go far to cut a really nice tree at a cheap price!

 Looking in the window - this is what you'll see.  Tater is keeping watch over the fire in the stove.

 The people that built this house spent last Christmas here and they put a tree in the front windows - so tall it reached just under those very top windows.  We looked for a super tall tree but they were all so wide at the base that it would have been Christmas tree in our living room and nothing else!

 No snow yet and only a couple of mornings with a little frost.  Lots of rain as usual.  So glad to have a house to keep dry in!
