A friend of mine brought me a whole carton of doughnuts last night - just for me! What a great friend. Okay, you don't have to bring me doughnuts to be a great friend - she's a great person even when she isn't carrying doughnuts through my front door. She suffers with the same dairy allergy that I do and she found a bakery in Seattle that makes non dairy doughnuts!!! I have not eaten a doughnut in 9 years! I really like doughnuts. This carton of non dairy doughnuts came with glazed, cinnamon, plain, chocolate and chocolate raspberry flavors. They taste really good too. For anyone wanting to know - the bakery is called " Mighty-O donuts" in Seattle.
Other happenings around here this week - our neighbor's cow got out again. We're visited by their cows and horses a few times each year when our grass is greener than theirs. After closing our gate, the cow meandered over to our other neighbor's and trimmed the grass in front of their house. We enjoyed watching the next door neighbor lady get surprised by a cow at her front door when she arrived home from work. Now that the cow's fence has been pushed over - he's been going door to door for hand outs all week.
Little J turned 7 months old on the 13th. He's really active now and only wants mommy when he's hungry and even then - he's trying to take in sights and sounds so as not to miss out on any action. He LOVES animals and has made friends with Stormy our rooster. ( Through the glass only because rooster beaks are very sharp and rooster poop looks tasty. )

I observed the way you took firm hold of that box of donuts and immediately informed your family they were YOUR! All YOURS! i agree, you do have nice friends....and it helps that they share and appreciate your affliction.
I love your comment "Rooster poo looks tasty." Life was so simple when your crawling. :)
Those doughnuts look great. Very normal and not perfect! Which of course makes them perfect!
