The Old Garage

So, the old garage needed a new roof. Last week my husband and two oldest kids started ripping off the old roof. CT was a huge help and did a lot of the tear down work. The attached carport ended up mostly rotted through so that had to come down too. I tended the burn pile. My husband did some dirt moving, grading and replanted our lilac bush and rhododendron over next to our dog yard. My hope is that the lilacs will help make the dog yard smell better as well as give the dogs more shade. By Sunday we had 1/2 of the roof done and 1/2 of the carport done.

Your parents seem very nice. Please add a nice sundeck and a hottub for them, and a little golf cart that they can ride up to the house in and take all their meals with you. What a good daughter!

I agree with the comments wholeheartedly - your parents (both sides) will need at least a hot tub and golf cart parking!terrific job and love seeing your children working alongside you - they know work isn't a dirty word
