Ooooooooohhhhhh ~ got a big one! C'mon, reel it in!
Stay focused! Pay no attention to the girl behind you making faces.... my what a comfy looking boat and are those slippers on your feet? Fishing in your slippers?
Hey ~ that's a nice one! All from the comfort of your own couch and we didn't have to clean this fish after you caught it. Besides, it's dark and cold and rainy and stormy and cold and dark outside.
Okay, back to our Wii coming back. Where did it go? Our Nintendo Wii, which is our newest video game system, ( I feel the need explain what a Wii is on the off chance that 15 - 20 years from now - or longer - our grandchildren read this and the Nintendo Wii had become as obscure as the Atari has for my children - or the Sega for that matter, since my daughter came home from my Aunt's house all excited about the video games she played on their 'old fashioned' Nintendo. ) Anyway ~ Our Wii had a problem and had to be sent to the Nintendo hospital to be repaired. We sent it out the 2nd week of December. It took 5 days to get to the Nintendo hospital which is located not far from where we live - in our same state even. Thank goodness for online tracking, we could see that it arrived safely on the 16th and was repaired immediately and shipped back out to our address the very next morning! Oh goody! We'll have it back for Christmas! We checked the post office everyday. No Wii. Christmas came, the kids got new games to play on the Wii! Games that looked like a lot of fun to play! Still no Wii. The day after Christmas, Nintendo called us ~ " Um, it looks like your Wii got sent to your P.O. box and we can't deliver it there so it was sent back to us. Do you have a physical address we could send it to? " No, we live at the post office, it's quite cozy, lots of parking and we've made furniture out of bubble wrap and are having a white Christmas amidst the Styrofoam popcorn. "We'll send your Wii back to you - it's all repaired! " Said the nice Nintendo lady ( She sounded like Peach from Mario Bros. ???) We waited.....New Year's Eve came and went. All this holiday off work time and crummy weather outside and lovely new exciting video games to play and no Nintendo Wii! My husband got online to track it again. It went to Kentucky. KENTUCKY! There are six states between us and Kentucky! Why would it go to Kentucky?! Then it came back to our state but to a completely different city on the other side! My husband goes back to work. The kids start back to school. Holidays are over. Vacation is over. On the 5th of January ~Ding Dong! Hey look on the porch! In the brown packing box! It's our Wii!!! So, that night, we went fishing.

Hey right on time for Twelfth Night! How lovely.
There have been a lot of shipping issues this December, I am sorry your wii got caught up in the mess.
I hate sending things off to the hospital.
You just never know what goes on with a package once it gets into the hands of other people.Maybe there WERE people happily playing your WII at the post office...sitting on the bubble wrap, flinging styrofoam peanuts and fishing!Or maybe the WI hospital thought WI needed a vacation, back east? But whatever the reason, hip hip hooray, you have your WI back and poor Birdy Balaku can at least fish since the weather canceled his hunting trip!
The birds are safe for another season!
Oh my goodness! Such a shame the kids didn't have the Wii there to play while off on holiday break, but I'm glad it has finally arrived. My sons have a Wii too and they love it. In fact, now that the older one is back at college, his younger brother misses having his live-in Wii partner to play against. He still plays it by himself or once in a while when a friend is over, but it is just not the same as having his brother home to play it with him. Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend, Autumn. :D
I'm glad you finally got it back! Hooray!!! It looks like lots of fun and what great practice for the "real" thing.
I got my first taste of Wii at my nieces house at Christmas. We did American Idol and Rock Guitar on theirs. It was loads of fun!
